FWF and Birds of a Feather Hopping!

Here I am combining a bunch of my favorite things yet again. It's hard for me to be able to stamp as much as I'd like or have ideas for since the kids keep me SUPER busy. I don't know how other moms do it! Crazy! Ok, this post is for the Caffinated Cropper Birds of a Feather Customer Hop as well as Unity's Friends With Flair. Check out the Unity blog to see everyone in the FWF hop.

Ok, you should have come from Amy's blog to mine. That's where you start, because Amy let's me be first this time. :) Leave comments along the way, someone will win a mini kit! My first card uses the sketch from Our Craft Corner's sketch blog. All the elements except the stamps are from Ippity's Fall for You. How perfect is this set with Birds of a Feather??!? I mean, it's like a match made in heaven. I stamped directly on the doily and colored with my Copics with no issue, in case you were wondering if you could Copic color on Martha Stewart Doilies.

For my next card, I used the same stamp set and again, all elements from the Birds of a Feather kit. The card is a completely different look. I was going for a CAS look for this card but I'm not sure I succeeded. It was a different kind of card for me, since I don't normally use such large sentiments. But let me tell you, these EAD rub-ons are a DREAM! They are super easy to use!

Ok, next up on the Caffinated Cropper hop is my amazing friend, CAROLE! :)

  2. I thought that after being a SAHM I'd have all these time to craft. NOOOOOO. How stupid was I?!?! Now I craft around midnight and go to bed when the birds are chirping! It's insane but it makes me happy that little bit night time crafting... or just browsing the Net. I don't know how other moms do it. Maybe after a few more months I might get it :P

    Cute projects!!!

  3. Ashley - you did an excellent job with BOTH cards. But I know what you mean by sometimes creating outside your comfort zone. I tend to have a "signature" way of making cards as well. But you did a fabulous job!
