Congrats Baby Card

Hi friends!  I hope you're doing great!  Sorry I haven't blogged in so long.  I am SO busy with the kids especially the baby.  I'd forgotten how tired I get with a baby.  Hopefully, we will get more sleep and I can start crafting soon.  I keep trying to take the baby into the craft room with me but she doesn't seem to like it in there.  It must be the GIANT mess in there.

I made this card for my friend JoAnn to congratulate her on her new baby.  I'm a little late.  Like she had her baby while I was still pregnant late.  But I'm sure she understands.  I used super cute stamps from Paper Smooches and the paper is from Kaisercraft.  The ribbon is May Arts.  I'm entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes challenge.

Hi friends!  I hope you're having a great day!  I'm doing ok.  We still have a residual cough from our cold but other than that, everyone seems ok.  B went back to school today and he really seemed to enjoy it.  I think he missed his friends.  

Here's another card I made for Paper Craft Gallery Idol.  I love this sentiment from Unity Stamp Co.  Seriously, who doesn't need to be told that they are brave?  I tried to think of a way I wanted to use it.  I still might do this in a more grown up card but right now, this just felt right.  Cute little lion, huh?  I cut it from some Kaisercraft paper that's the same as the other paper on this card.  Then I finished with Lemon Divine Twine.

My Thoughts Exactly April DT Post

Hi friends! I hope you are doing well! I'm on my last day of the kids being gone and I still can't sleep in. I guess my body just refuses to believe they are gone. ;) They are having a great time, yesterday when I called they were at the park and made some new friends. I'm excited to see them tonight.

I have some My Thoughts Exactly cards to share with you today. All of these cards use stamps from the new release which I love love love! Have you picked some up for yourself yet? You need to! My first card uses More Big Thoughts. I made this for Runway Inspired Challenge #9. If you haven't played along with this challenge, you really should. It pushed me outside of my box and I'm so happy with the results! The small patch of patterned paper is Cosmo Cricket Evangeline.

Next up is a card I made for a call that wasn't accepted. This uses More Mini Thoughts. The paper and wooden flower are from Kaisercraft. The string is May Arts.

Here's my last card, I used Big Thoughts for this one. I used the CardPatterns #157 sketch. The paper is from Authentique Celebrate and the twine is Black Licorice Divine Twine. I used some Love My Tapes washi tape as well.

A Card and 30 Before 30 Check In

Hi friends! I hope you had a lovely weekend! We had a pretty good weekend. We went to our friends's house for dinner on Friday and then hubby's Grandpa Stan's 80th birthday yesterday. Today, we just hung out. This weekend kind of took a toll on me and I am not feeling well. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day.

Here's a card I made a few weeks ago when I was cropping with friends. I used my friend Gina's WOW stamps for this card along with one of her punches. The paper is from Kaisercraft.

And I'm WELL overdue for an update on my 30 Before 30 project. I'll only tell you want I've made progress on.

Oh SO Punny!

Hi friends! I hope you are having a lovely week! I am doing alright over here. Hopefully, I'll be fully recovered soon. Other than that, there's not too much going on around here. I can't believe it's almost March! This year is flying by so far!

I decided to play along with the CAS-ual Fridays challenge this week. The challenge #41 is to make CAS cards with puns on them. You know that puns are not scarce around this blog! ;)

Here are a couple cards I came up with:

I used My Thoughts Exactly The Birds and The Bees set. The paper is from Kaisercraft, brand new Tiny Woods. I also used a label punch and cut it in half for the sentiment.

My next card uses My Thoughts Exactly Lovey Puns Animals and again the Kaisercraft paper. The button is actually vintage and I just used a little string.

Hey Hippo!

Hi friends! I hope you are having a great weekend! Today, we had my SIL's wedding which was just gorgeous! It was hot but so beautiful! I'm so happy for them!

Just wanted to share a quick card that I made when I was at my friend Tricia's house a few weeks ago. This is Kaisercraft Party Animals. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler which is pretty much my favorite stamp set right now. I used Divine Twine on this as well.

Paper and Such Sketch

Hi friends! I hope you're having a great week so far! I'm not feeling great again. I'm hoping it will pass soon. However, in the mean time, I'm still crafting a bit so I have things to blog.

Here's a card I made for a new challenge for a store that just opened called Paper and Such. The challenge this time is a sketch. You can see the details HERE. I actually just ordered for the shop and it was great! The prices are good and the shipping was super fast!

For this card, I used some My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky. The butterfly paper is really darling and I'm always looking for sketches where you can really showcase patterned paper without covering it all up. The sentiment is from Kaisercraft. I didn't even know that they made stamps! The fonts are cute and the sets are inexpensive. I added some seam binding, a button, and some burlap

string.
