Thanksgiving Card

Hi friends!  I hope you are well.  Avery and I are a bit under the weather.  I hope we are better before Thanksgiving.  The boys will be on their Thanksgiving breaks soon and I'm hoping to do some fun things with them.

Speaking of Thanksgiving, I made a Thanksgiving card at the crop I attended.  Now, I really need to give it away because I tend to keep cards forever and it's only good one time a year.  I used October Afternoon Apple Cider for the papers.  I used a couple pieces of washi tape this and some enamel dots.  The sentiment was from a Close to My Heart set that I borrowed from my friend Rachel.
Have a great day, everyone!  Also, please come back everyday next week for giveaways!  I'm having my 7th Blog Anniversary Celebration!

Thankful for You!

Hi friends!  I hope you are well!  We are ok.  We are just dealing with some school stuff right now.  This too shall pass right?  Or we will get it figured out on how to deal with everything.

Today, I'm sharing a card I made at the crop I went to this weekend.  I actually forgot my albums at home and couldn't work on them for a while.  My sweet friend Elly picked them up for me on her way to the crop.  However, in the meantime, I made a couple cards.

This card is dedicated to you!  The sweet people who read my blog!  I'm so thankful for you!  I'm thankful that you have stuck by me when my blog went dormant.  I'm thankful for people who still comment.  I'm thankful for the people who continue to support me as I muddle my way down this path.

For this card, I used a Close to My Heart stamp set.  My friend Rachel lent me the stamp set and some CTMH ink.  The paper is Apple Cider from October Afternoon as is the sticker of the girl.  The alphabet letters are Basic Grey.
Have a great day, friends!  Also, I've started a Heart Hugs Designs Facebook Page.  Please join me over there for chatting and giveaways!

Give Thanks

Hi friends!  I hope you're having a good day!  We are doing pretty good.  This is my first day all week when I haven't been non stop go.  It's kind of nice.  I had a visit with a friend this morning and then in the afternoon we'll have a birthday party to attend.

Here's a fall card I made forever ago.  I think all the elements are October Afternoon?  I'm pretty sure the washi tape is from Pebbles.  Can I just say that I'm giving thanks for the fall(ish) weather right now?  The air conditioning in our van isn't working and let me tell you, the slight breeze and the fact that it cools down earlier in the day is AMAZING!
I hope you're all well!  Have a great day!

Sail Boat

Hi friends! I hope you are having a great day! I am super busy getting ready for a craft fair. Gah! And I'm still under the weather. This is just a hard week.

Today, I'm sharing an old card because quite frankly, I've been so busy that I haven't taken pictures of all the projects I've made recently. So, here's an old Father's Day card using some Wilson Designs Stamps and some October Afternoon paper. The mist makes it looks like it's raining so this card is so confused. LOL! What can you do?
Have a great day friends!

Great job, Robot!

Hi friends! I hope you are having a great week! We are getting by. Brady told me this morning "I'm still so sick!" We are staying in the house and I have to tell you, I'm going a little stir crazy.

Here's a card I made for a call that was rejected. Poor little robot! The robot stamp is from October Afternoon. I couldn't resist this cute stamp set. So perfect for my cute little boys! I paired the robot with a sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Just My Type Too! The paper is from My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Out of the Blue. And the baker's twine is Divine Twine in Blueberry.

Have a great day, everyone!

FWF: Thinking of You

Hi friends! Hope you are having a great week! I'm happy that the weekend is almost here. I'm pretty sure that I say that every week but it's just the truth. I'm sure you all feel the same way.

So, here's my card for this week. I started it when my head was feeling horrible so this was NOT the original plan for this card. It was going to be one layer but then my sentiment was crocked. GAH! So, I cut out the tree (from Unity's Could I Be Any Cuter?) and put it on this piece of October Afternoon Modern Homemake paper. The big pink gems are Doodlebug, the gold are Studio 18, and the teal are Kaisercraft. I finished with a sentiment from Unity's Bevy of Butterflies, Stickles, and some twine.

Have a great day everyone and be sure to check the Unity Blog to see everyone on today's blog hop. Don't forget to leave comments, you never know where that blog candy will be hidden!

EtsyInspired #134 ~ Think Fast Designs

This week's EtsyInspired shop is Think Fast Designs. This week's shop is VERY special since the shop owner is a friend of mine and someone who's work I admire a lot, Kim Kesti. In this shop, Kim and her mother Jeri show off a wide array of beautiful products. There are gorgeous sewn goods like aprons, quilts, and purse. There are also jewelry pieces; necklace pendants and boutunnieres. Everything is just so lovely! I would buy the whole shop if I could! And we have THREE very special surprises this week:

1. Think Fast Designs is offering up a vintage pendant of the winner's choice
2. There's a 10% off discount code for EVERYONE using coupon code "THINKFASTPLEASE"
3. Kim is guest designing for us this week! Woohoo!

This week's sponsor is Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker. This company puts out tons of adorable papers, stickers, journalling tags, buttons, and more. This week, Nikki Sivils is offering up a collection pack with papers and embellishments.

Here's my card for this week inspired by the apron above. When I saw it, I immediately thought of this paper from October Afternoon called Modern Homemaker. I used this week's Get Sketchy sketch for this card.
