April 2013 CARDS Publication

Hi friends!  I hope you're having a wonderful day!  I've had a rotten week.  I got foot fungus from a pedicure, my fridge broke, we had to throw out hundreds of dollars worth of food, we all got a cold, and we have tons of spiders and bugs and the pest control guy didn't show up.  Sigh... but tomorrow is a new day and we just have to make the best of it, right?  

Today, I'm sharing the last card I have published.  I hope there will be more cards in the future but this was the last one I sent off to have published.  It's a hard and sad feeling.  Of course, I'm super happy to have all these cards published and I feel so blessed but what if this is it?  Who knows if I'll get my mojo back or if I'll still be what people are looking for.  Fingers crossed.

Paper Crafts Magazine May/June Published Card

Hi friends!  I hope you are all well.  We are doing ok around here.  Life with three kids is so much harder than I thought and it's just taking a lot of time to adjust.  I haven't had much time to craft.  I actually haven't had that much time to myself period.  But I'm trying to savor the moment since this baby phase goes by in the blink of an eye.

Today, I'm sharing a card I have published in the May/June 2013 issue of Paper Crafts Magazine.  Sadly, this was from the last month I submitted before I had Avery so I don't have much to share after this.  I really really love this card though.  It's inspired completely by Dustin and this is totally a card I would make and actually give to my husband.  While I usually love my published cards, I can't really say that they all have someone in my life that I actually had in mind when I made them.  For a supply list and instructions on how I made this card, please purchase the Paper Crafts May/June 2013 issue.  I've posted the cover here.  This issue is packed full of fabulous inspiration!

January CARDS Pubs

Hi friends!  I hope you're having a lovely day!  We are having a great day!  It's sunny outside and the baby is in a great mood.  I was actually able to make dinner which is a huge feat with three kids.  It's the little things.

75 Creative Card Challenges Publication

Hi friends!  I hope that you're having a great day!  We are doing ok.  I am still VERY tired.  Avery is waking up about every 2 hours at night to eat which is kind of annoying because she wakes up every 3-4 hours during the day.  :(  I guess she has her days and nights confused?  She also wants to stay awake at night and just stare at me.  She doesn't cry and she's just so sweet so what can you do?  Hopefully, I can start sleeping soon.

Today, I'm sharing a card I had published in Paper Crafts Magazine's 75 Creative Card Challenges.  This issue is some major MOJO boosting goodness!  One of my very favorite things to do when I'm low on creative juices is to try some challenges to get things going.  This issue offers 75 of them right at the tip of your fingers.  Here's the cover:

Create: Christmas Cards Publication

Hi friends!  I hope you're having a great day!  I'm getting really uncomfortable over here.  Just the normal stuff.  We are getting ready for the baby (almost done) and for Christmas.  The kids are super excited for both.

Oct CARDS Mag Publication and Please Donate!

Hi friends!  I hope that you are doing well!  We have been having a pretty good day however I think that the fact that it is getting dark early is making my children crabby earlier in the day.  What can you do?  Perhaps I should just put them to bed right after dinner.  ;)

Today, I'm sharing a card I had published in the CARDS Magazine October 2012 issue.  This card was featured in the Simple Sentiments section.  For a supply list and directions on how to make this card, please check out the issue.

I also wanted to mention that I have friends in the North Eastern United States that are really suffering right now.  People are without electricity, clean water, shelter, and many other necessities.  Meanwhile, another storm has rolled in bringing snow with it.  While we don't have a whole lot of money, we have a little so we decided to donate.  If you'd like to donate, here's a simple way.

Autumn Card

Hi friends!  I hope you're having a wonderful day!  We are doing ok.  I'm feeling a little better in a little bit, we are heading off to Brady's school for the school's Harvest Festival.  Seriously, so cute!

Hi friends!  I hope you're having a great day!  I'm not doing so hot.  This infection has got me down and I'm not sleeping well due to being so pregnant.  Hopefully tomorrow will be a much better day.

Sept CARDS Magazine Pub

Hi friends!  I hope you're having a great day!  We had a pretty good day even though I am a little miserable because of this kidney infection.  Brady had school then went to his friend's house for a playdate and stayed for dinner.  Parker was sad that he didn't get to go so we had a special Mommy and Parker day.  I took him to Dustin's work for lunch (they have a cafeteria) and then we went to Pinkberry for some frozen yogurt.  Then we did a little shopping.

Today, I'm sharing one of the cards I had published in the Sept '12 Cards Magazine.  I have a few in this issue but I decided to show them one at a time because I'm just not creating all that much lately and I'd like to have some things to blog.  This is in the wedding section of the magazine.

Create: Stamping Publication

Hi friends!  I hope you're having a great day!  We had a pretty good day around here.  Just the ordinary stuff.  I think we are getting the hang of this school thing.

My First Scrapbook Trends Pub

Hi friends!  I hope you're having a great day!  We are doing pretty good.  Yesterday's playdate was wonderful!  The little boy is so quiet and shy.  Brady matched his energy (as he often does with his friends) and we had a pretty peaceful afternoon.  I can't wait to do it again!

Ok, today I'm sharing my first Scrapbook Trends publication but don't get excited, it's still a card.  My card was published in the Sept '12 Scrapbook Trends issue AND it got a double page spread.  I was bouncing off the walls when I saw this.

Nov/Dec '12 Paper Crafts Publication

Hi friends!  I hope you're having a great day!  We are doing ok.  In a bit, I'm going to pick up Brady and his new friend from Kindergarten from school for a playdate and he's even staying for dinner.  I'm excited to have Brady off making friends on his own and this kid is SO sweet!  I hope they have a good time.

Hi friends!  I can't believe it's been a week since I blogged!  I'm hoping to blog more soon.  I've started Project Life and I just need to get some of my layouts photographed then I'll share them on here.  Hopefully, you will like seeing some Project Life along with my cards.  :)

Hi friends! I hope you are having a great day! We were having a lazy morning until Brady was goofing off and standing on the chair. He fell off, hit his face on another chair and put two teeth through his lower lip. GAH! This is the life of a mom with two rough and tumble boys!

My First "Real" Issue of Paper Crafts

Hi friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! We got to spend a fun day with one of our favorite families yesterday so it was VERY fun. The kids had a great time and we took some cute pictures. Too bad I only had my iPhone.

Ok, so I'm sure many of you have already seen this awesome magazine to the left. It's the Sept/Oct 2011 issue of Paper Crafts. It's an EXCITING one for me because this is the first "real" issue of Paper Crafts I've been published in. Until now, it was all special issues like Stamp It or Card Creations. It's kind of a big deal to me. I don't really know why.

Stamp It 8

Hi friends! Hope you are doing well today! Half way through the work week! I can't wait for the long weekend, can you? :) Well, assuming you get a long weekend. Honestly, hubby only has a regular weekend since his schedule is wonky this week but we'll make the best of it. My mom is coming to hang out with the kids so that will be nice for everyone.

Yesterday, Stamp It 8 came out. You can buy it HERE. This is a really cool issue! It's all cards, as the cover shows. It's just jam packed with awesome ideas and gorgeous projects from a bunch of awesome designers. I'm lucky enough to have two projects in this special issue.

Feb CARDS 2011

Hi friends!

Just popping by to post a card I had published in February's issue of Cards Magazine by Northridge Media. I LOVE how they photograph my cards, I almost skipped right passed this card because it looked so amazing in their photo. This is the first vintage card that I've had picked up but it's not the last (wink, wink!)

I can't seem to find my picture of this card so I'm just showing you are screenshot from Cards.
