Hugged My Heart #3

For my weekly picture of Brady, I have (for your entertainment) Brady going down a slide.  This is actually the little activity center that's in our house.  We got it as a hand-me-down from my aunt.  Brady LOVES it.  This is kind of a perfect picture of him.  He looks cute, but he's on the move.  Don't let that sweet face fool you, he's a mischievous one!

Now for what hugged my heart this week:

1. Jennifer Bu
ck of The Buck Stamps Here.  If you have never talked to Jennifer, I really recommend that you do.  She is one of the sweetest and most upbeat people I know.  I absolutely HEART her.  But what really gets me is THIS post that she made.  It's about her struggle with cancer and it makes her all the more amazing.  She is such a beautiful person, inside and out.  She didn't let an illness get her down, like some people I know.  She has put such a positive spin on things and for that, I heart her even more
.
2. Ok, so you know that I LOVE Tiffany Johnson.  I think she's my SCS bff (but don't tell her, she might think I'm odd since we haven't known each other that long.)  How could I not love her after she wrote THIS about me?  But that's not what this post is about!  This post is about her card, Love is...!  I stole this picture from her Etsy.  I hope she doesn't mind.  I LOVE this card!  It's PHENOMENAL!  And you can BUY it!

3. Wish RAK's Labor Day Card Challenge.  I blogged about this in my previous post but I don't think I mentioned how much it touches my heart.  I think it's really amazing that people are teaming together to give cards to the troops.  No matter what you feel about that war, you have to commend the brave men and women who are trying to fight for our country.

4.  Pools.  Yesterday, I spent some time out in the backyard with my boys.  We are crammed into Brady's tiny inflatable frog pool.  And though it was a tight squeeze, we had a great time hanging out with each other, taking in a little sun, and relaxing in the pool.  I suggest you go do that same thing!  For just about $10 (they are probably on clearance by now) you can get a little baby pool to hang out in too!

  1. Thanks for the shout out on your 3rd installation of Hugged my Heart! And, NO I don't think you're weird! I am so thankful for the friendship that we have developed!

Brady looks a little mischievous like he's plotting his next move!
