Oprah's Table Inspiration Challenge

I made this card for this week's Inspiration Challenge.  The picture was one of this GORGEOUS table setting with reds and teals.  I LOVE red and teal!  It was really classy and had some oriental vases and butterflies.  I, however, do not have vase or butterfly stamps.  BUT, I do have Mari and Me.

Mari and Me is quickly becoming one of my favorite stamp companies.  Why?  Because they have little Asian people stamps.  I just love them.  Growing up, I didn't have a lot of Asian items.  My dolls were blond.  The kids in my movies were caucasian sometimes Hispanic or African American.  There were barely any Asian people on the TV.  Being Asian was not very main stream yet.  I'm glad that's not going to be the case for my son as he grows up.

Anyhow, Mari and Me offers adorable stamps!  I based my card around this cute little Asian girl.  I just love her!  This is also a sketch challenge (178) from a few weeks ago.

Basic Recipe:
Stamps: Mari and Me
Paper: white, teal CS, SU DP
Ink: Stazon Jet Black
Accessories: rhinestones, markers
Difficulty (1-Easy 5-Advanced): 1

  1. Cute card. Love the stamp. I too found Mari and Me when I was looking for Filipino stamps. I haven't bought any yet, but may take the plunge soon along with some Hawaiian themed ones. Thanks for sharing. I'm going to look more through your blog.
