A Little Burst of Energy

Over this weekend, I got a little burst of energy.  Hooray!  About time, I say!  :)  So, I went ahead and made a couple cards to make up for all the slacking off I've been doing.  Who knew that being pregnant, having a toddler, and working at a daycare could make a person SO tired?
Anyhow, I finally got around to make my sample for last Saturday's EtsyInspired Challenge.  The shop this week is Dragonfly Fine Designs.  I wanted to make a little baby card since the shop has baby stuff in it and I wanted to add the lollipops since it's such a creative idea from this shop.  I combined it with the Caardvarks challenge this month to make a card using ONLY card stock, no designer paper.  I actually had a little bit of a panic attack when I read about the challenge.  But then I remember the ADORABLE onesie cards designed originally by Lauren Meader.  So, I made a little onesie card that I tweaked a little since I wanted ruffles on the sleeves and on the legs.

I also made a card for the Friday Fun Challenge that the awesome Sherry, Jimmi, Kath, and Kim do every week.  I really love the weekly challenge, I think it's so fun!  And the girls are all so sweet.  This week, Kim issued the challenge to make a snowflake card with NO shades of blue.  Not really a problem for me.  I love pink!  I combined this with the limited supplies challenge from Friday since it was also to make a snowflake card but this time it needed to be monochromatic and have some bling.  Pink and bling?  This is SO my challenge!  The picture is AWFUL since it's raining here, but here it is nonetheless.

I'm hoping that my energy keeps up.  Wish me luck!
