Hugged My Heart #21

Brady is being DIFFICULT lately.  We have officially entered the terrible twos.  He spent a few days at my mom's house.  Usually, she's begging to keep him and brings him back at the last possible second.  NOT this time.  She gave him back early.  Oy vey!

So, I'm digging back into the archives to pull out some pictures to remind me of that little muffin that used to be so sweet.  Here he is at 5 months old with baby cereal on his face.  Isn't he so sweet?  I miss that baby!

Here's my list for the week:

1. WishRAK's card for the troops challenges.  I think this is a really fun and wonderful way to start the year!  I really appreciate this wonderful group and all the kind things that they do for others.  I'm not going to post a link since you have to be a member to see it but if you are on SCS, think about joining WishRAK.  We could all use a little happiness.

2. Pat's Valentine's Card Drive.  I wish I was one of these people that was having a card drive.  I need to make that a goal for this new year.  Pat is collecting Valentine's for the children at the Children's Hospital of Michigan.  Her goal is 1000 cards so that the 238 children there can exchange Valentine's and send some to their family and friends.  What a wonderful thing!  Pat is offering blog candy to entice you to help out.  Also, helping Pat with the blog candy is her daughter Julie Koeber and the ever adorable Jennifer Buck!  PS Jennifer is actually where I heard of this, it's good to have friends in high places!

3. I'm pretty sure everyone knows Faith Hofrichter aka Markie's Mom.  She's very talented.  But she's not my focus today.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE Markie!  He's so cute!  I love the pictures posted of him on Faith's blog.  I love the jokes that he tells.  I love his cards, the kid has more talent than me, check out his GALLERY!  And mostly, I love him for the comment that he left on one of my cards.
"This lady looks like my mom used to look when she was not so old. My mom used to have very little dogs before she married my dad. There is a picture of her in her bedroom and she is wearing a big white hat. I really like your card!"

4. Joy brought to my attention a new blog that is being put together.  It's called the Daily Dare.  These gals are putting ALL the challenges in the blogosphere together in one place so that we card makers can play, play, play!  I think it's so sweet that they are taking the time to do this!  Check out the blog, it's awesome!  Also, they put my EtsyInspired Challenge on there!  Thanks gals!

That's it for this week!  I hope you all have a wonderful week!  Hugs!

  7. Such a cute baby picture! I just have to laugh when I read about what you are going through, only because I've been there!!!! I actually took my son to the doctor and asked to have him tested neuologically because I was sure something was wrong. The doctor told me he would be 80% better when he turned 3 and he was right, wow was it amazing. So just hang in there it will get better :)
