CAS Purse Inspired

I think one of these days, I won't be so tired. Having two kids is exhausting! Not to mention trying to keep a clean house and cooking. I don't know how people do it! Sometimes I think it would be easier to go back to work! Enough about me!

Here's a card I made for this week's CAS challenge on SCS. We were supposed to be inspired by Anthropologie handbags and shoes. I love love love bags! Love! Just to make that clear. :) I found my inspiration in THIS bag. I would not be mad at all if it showed up at my house!

This card kind of took on a life of it's own. I had intended to go with more pinks and purples but I picked out these papers and I thought I should definitely use them. Then I decided my maroon ribbon wouldn't work so I used this blue instead. The paper is Basic Grey. The stamp is Unity from the July 09 KOTM. Kind of an out of the box card from me, but I like to try new things every now and then.

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Yeah, with 2 kids of my own, trying to cook, clean, and work gets crazy... And I still want to have time to craft! I'm hoping it'll get easier!

  5. This is just beautiful and love the paper and the ribbon. Hope you will be able to caught up on your sleep soon. I think it's when their out of the house. LOL Wants you can caught up then they are teenagers and then you have to deal with that. Motherhood is an endless job...rewarding but endless.

  9. GREAT card, Ashley! Anthropologie is a fun place to get inspiration!! Life will get easier as the kids get a little older. It is tiring but oh so rewarding when you are there for them during these precious days.

  10. Ashley,

Going from 1 kid to two kids was really really really hard on me!!! I do not know if part of it was that they were just a little over 2 years apart like yours are, or if it is just plain hard to go from 1 to 2!!!!

Now when we went from 2 to 3 it was a piece of cake!!! But there were 3 years between #2 and #3 so I do not know if that make a difference or not, but 2 to 3 was 100 times easier than 1 to 2!!!!!

Hang in there it will get better!!!!
