The first challenge that we were given is a color challenge. We were to use lavender, yellow, and green. I also used Card Patterns Sketch 57 for this card. The stamp I used is from Hero Arts. The patterned paper is SU. I also used two different embossing folders for this card.
Onto the paint. I used Royal Purple for the flower and then to make it softer, I painted Winter Frost on top of it. I didn't even need to wait between layers. The paint dries pretty quick and I did want them to blend a little. For the center of my flower, I used Sunshine. And then I took a fine brush and added some Evergreen to the flower. You can see how well the paint layers.
And FINALLY, I was able to get a really good picture of the shimmer. This paint is SO pretty! You should ALL buy it so you can see how pretty it is in person! This was taken with no flash, in afternoon sun.
