Growing in Unity Day 2 (Giveaways!)

***For my Lawnscaping post, please scroll down***

Hi friends! Happy Monday! I am currently on a mini getaway in the Redwoods in Sonoma County, CA. :) Isn't that fun?! Dustin and I are taking our late anniversary trip. I meant to have this schedule to post last night, but I was feeling REALLY sick so I crawled into bed at 830pm. I know, party animal, right?

Thanks for joining me for day 2 of Growing in Unity! Don't forget to leave comments EVERY DAY for the drawing! There will be 3 blog candies at the end of my week; 1 from Unity and 2 from me! :)

Today, I decided to go with some Ippity. Mostly because for so long now, there was an Ippity hop on Mondays. I don't know what's happening with that, but we shall see! :) So, one stamp (from Now and Always) two different ways, again. :) I really am enjoying showing the versatility not only of the stamp but also in my designing.

This first card uses the Sweet Sunday Sketch #115 from my pal Karen Giron. Karen is an amazing designer, I'm pretty sure I "met" her through Taylored Expressions. I do get the pleasure of being Facebook friends with her so we occasionally post to each other.

Ok, so I decided to go for a fun and cute, bright and happy card. This is probably my "typical" style, I think. I really do think of myself as a fun and cute stamper though I like to experiment. What do you think? I decided to use some Echo Park Summer Days paper. I'm in LOVE with this paper pack! It's SO bright! The sentiment is from Ippity's How You Doin? I was going to go without a sentiment but the card felt like it was begging for one. The butterfly is made with a Martha Stewart punch.

For my second card, I decided to go with classy and elegant. I think this style is probably the one LEAST represented on my blog. I can hardly believe that this is the same stamp set! I decided to use some Basic Grey Hello, Luscious paper. (I love this paper too!) And I accented the flower with some pearls. The sentiment is from the same Ippity set as the flower, Now and Always. And then I just added a giant gold satin bow. Sigh...can you say luxury? Though, now that I think about it, I have NO idea how I'm getting that card into an envelope!

Thanks for joining me again today as I Grow in Unity! :) Leave comments everyday! And I hope to see you back tomorrow!
