Love is the Air

***For my giveaway: CLICK HERE!***

Hi friends! I hope you're having a great day! We had a great time today! We went to a Valentine's party with my mommy group friends who I've known since Brady was only 5 weeks old. It's amazing how much our kids have grown! I adore my friends and their sweet kids. It's always fun to have a holiday party with them!

Speaking of Valentine's Day, I wanted to join in the Valentine's Day blog hop over at the Dancing in Pajamas Blog. I love The Cat's Pajamas and how better to celebrate Valentine's than to make a cute TCP card? I can't think of a better way!

Here's a card I made with an older TCP set that I have. I think this rocket card is perfect for my little guys. They LOVE rockets and space! For this card I used the CPS 5th Anniversary Day 12 Challenge. The paper is Bo Bunny, the doily is from Target, and the ribbon is from L'il Davis. I colored with Copics and added some Stickles.
Have a great day, friends!

Hi friends!!!!! I'm so excited to be sharing projects from the My Thoughts Exactly February release with you all today. I think this is the BEST release yet! But I might be a bit bias. To start the hop, head over to the My Thoughts Exactly Blog aka Alyssa's Blog. Be sure to leave comments on EVERY blog because there's a HUGE prize! The WHOLE release!!! Wow!

In this release, there are SEVEN new stamp sets! There are also FIVE bundles of the new releases available. I adore this release, it's all Valentine's! YAY! The first 20 customers who order one of the new release stamps will get a FREE Love Labels set! So HURRY!

I wanted to show you some versatility here so I used a couple different sets in different styles to really show you what can be done.

Here's a classic Valentine's Day card with pretty hearts and glitter. This is probably my favorite set of the new release called Candy Hearts. How CUTE is this box stamp?! This uses Bo Bunny paper, Love My Tapes fabric tape, and some Stickles.
This next card uses Lovey Puns Animals. It's so perfect for cute cards! Again, I used Bo Bunny, Love My Tapes and Stickles.
Here's one that uses Love Labels which can be used vintage as shown here or elegant or cute or fun. Very versatile! The trims, doily, bead cord and flowers are from Creating is Fun.
And lastly, we need SUPER fun and cute right? Here's a card using Lovey Puns Food. I used some Imaginsce paper and some Divine Twine for this. I think this would be cute for any occasion to give to your love.
That's it for me! Hop on over to BEE'S BLOG for your next stop! And here's the WHOLE blog hop list:

Hi friends! I am currently sitting in the airport waiting for my flight to CHA. If you'll be there please stop by the Love My Tapes booth, #869 and I'll be there for a few hours everyday! Hope I get to see you!

Here's a Valentine's Day card I made for the Love My Tapes Blog. I got a really cute mini card deck in a stocking and I thought that they would be really cute on cards. Us crafters are always thinking. ;) And what would be more perfect that Love My Tapes Red Stripe Fabric Tape to go with it? Nothing! The paper is Bo Bunny, the letters are My Little Shoebox, and the punch is EK Success.
Have a great day, friends! Hope to see you at CHA!

I Like Ewe!

Hi friends! I hope you all had a wonderful Sunday! We had a busy day! We had brunch with close friends of ours who are Parker's Godparents. They are visiting from Southern California and sadly, that's the only time we got to see them this summer. Then we went to the Bay Area Discovery Museum if you have young children, this is a MUST! It was SO fun! We got there 3 hours before they closed and didn't even get to do everything before we had to leave. I would plan on spending the WHOLE day there and just pack a lunch! Then we had dinner at Amici's (pizza) and ice cream at Fenton's (a bay area favorite, you might know it from the movie UP.)

I just wanted to show a project today. I've seen quite a few pixie stick holders done before but I thought "Make it flat, add ribbon and turn it into a bookmark!" Honestly, I spend SO much time on these projects and it kills me to just see them thrown away. I thought if it was versatile, like a bookmark, a child might keep it and use it. :) I still need to do a tutorial on this. Seriously, I NEED a new iPhone. Mine doesn't do video.
Here's my project. I used my Lawn Fawn Critters on the Farm set, super cute! I think this set is really versatile. I paired it with some Bo Bunny paper. This would be great for Valentine's. That's what I meant it for, but if you changed up the paper, it would be a REALLY fun party favor for a farm birthday party.

Have a great day!

Love is Sweet

Hi friends! I hope you are having a great day! Pick up from school went well yesterday. The teacher and aids said that it only took Brady a few minutes to get used to being at school once we left. That's good to hear. If only he would just get excited about being there. I think he will with time.

I made this card a while ago but haven't gotten around to blogging it. My friend Kate said she's feeling a little unloved so I figured I would post a card using some of the EXCLUSIVE stamps from her store, i {heart} papers. Nothing says love like plugging your friend's store right? Joking aside, I LOVE LOVE LOVE i {heart} papers! I shop there ALL the time! She has great prices, super fast shipping, new products, and exclusive stamp lines which I love.

For this card, I used Mint Motif. I love these gorgeous stamps! I paired the Sweet Hearts set with some Bo Bunny paper. This set is fabulous for Valentine's, love, anniversary, kids, and so much more! The gum balls are rhinestones that I colored with Copics. I used some Cherry Divine Twine and a little silver gel pen to finish this up.
Have a great day everyone!

RCC10 Paper Piecing With Jessie!

Hi friends! I hope you had a great 4th of July! It was HOT here! :) Guess that's what summer is all about!

I'm on this week for the Ribbon Carousel Challenge. This week's theme is Paper Piecing and our hostess is the lovely Jessie Knight Rone who I LOVE LOVE LOVE. :D And just like Jessie, I love paper piecing! So, this challenge was an easy peasy one for me. Just remember, anytime you play along with the Ribbon Carousel Challenge you need to use ribbon, twine, trim, lace, or something that comes on a spool!

Here's my card for this week. I used Mint Motif Cake Shoppe and Cake Shoppe Too. I used sheer ribbon as my spool element. The paper is Bo Bunny.
Please go to the Ribbon Carousel Challenge to read up on the rules and link up your creations!

ATU32 From the Hearth

Hi friends! I hope you are all having a great weekend! I am busy busy busy with deadlines. Hopefully, I'll have some time to relax today. I have been doing a fair amount of creating though, so that's good.

Today, I have my card for the current All Things Unity challenge to share with you. The challenge is From the Hearth, using food themed stamps. You can see the challenge details HERE.

Here's my card, I decided to make a Thanksgiving card with a combo of Unity and Ippity Stamps since this is All Things UNITY, after all. The pumpkin is from Ippity's That's Creepy. I thought that the flourishes were actually lovely for a Thanksgiving card. The sentiment is from Unity's Simple Blessings. The patterned paper is Bo Bonny Vicki B. The twine is Brown Sugar Divine Twine.

Have a great day everyone!

Growing in Unity Day 7 (Giveaways!)

***Please scroll down for my EtsyInspired post***

Hi friends! I hope you all are kicking off a great weekend! It's not really our weekend yet since hubby has to work on Saturdays now. It's kind of a rough adjusting to a new schedule but we'll make it. I don't really know what we have planned for this weekend. Well, I have a general idea. Brady has promised me BIG things for Mother's Day including FIVE chocolate treats so I'm guessing it will be a good one! :)

Welcome back to my last day of Growing in Unity! Awww, can you believe my week is over? How sad! I hope you all have been enjoying my 1 stamp 2 ways series! I really loved doing it!

Don't forget that you can go back and leave comments on each day of my Growing in Unity to be entered to win one of the blog giveaways I have this week! One is hosted by Unity Stamp Co and the other two are provided by me! :D

Ok, so I totally neglected to use something I LOVE about Unity, the Kit of the Month! I used Jan '10 Savor the Journey for these two cards. Again, two ways. I made one feminine card and then a more masculine card.

For my first card, I used the new Unity KOM sketch. This is a really fun sketch! I need to use it again! For this card, I used Bo Bunny Vicki B. Isn't this paper so pretty? I used Nesties beaded circles behind the cute little bird. The ribbon is a really sweet pink crinkly ribbon and at the bottom, I used a border punch.

For my second card, I decided to use Jen del Muro's Sketch for You to Try for May. I am also entering both these cards in Unity's Monthly challenge which is to use birds. I really wanted to make a BRIGHT card so I broke open my new Basic Grey Life of the Party paper. I busted out my Copics to color this little guy. Fun, right? And I spelled out my sentiment with stickers.

Have a great weekend everyone!
