Brady's Birthday Card

This is the card I made Brady for his birthday.   It's not as decorative and fancy as some of the cards I've made but I do really like it.  I think all the elements are very suiting of my little guy.

I got the paper pierced baby, which I think is the CUTEST thing ever, on Etsy from seller Pacokeco.  She has cards and little paper yummies in her shop.  She's also a doll to work with.  I actually saw this baby on a card that she made and begged her to sell it to me.  These babies are drawn, shaded, and colored by hand.  Can you believe that?

Moving on, I used this week's SCS sketch challenge to make this card.  I figured I would just combine them since I need to make a birthday card and I wanted to do the sketch.  I like that the sketch is fairly simple so it really lets the baby stand out.  He is my favorite part anyhow.

Basic Recipe:
Paper: Blue card stock, white card stock, two different designer papers
Ink: Brilliant Blue and Basic Black
Accessories: Paper Pierced Baby
