I've been a member of the SCS fan club for a few months now, but I've never played along with their monthly themes until now. I'm not sure how much I'm actually allowed to say about the themes and what not BUT I will just say that I'm playing because I LOVE shiny things!This is a card I made based on this adorable butterfly that my friend Tiffany from I Heart Art sent to me. She sent it to me just out of the kindness of her heart! How sweet is that?!? It's from the July Unity Kit of the Month, which I cannot afford at this time. (Thanks Tiff for letting me live vicariously through you and for sharing the LOVE!)
I used some faux stitching, since I don't actually stitch. Layering of some scalloped circles. I added a little color to the stamped image with some markers. Oh, and my faux Faith dots since I'm not actually Faith.

Don't ask what I'm doing up this late...heehee. When the boys are in bed I become another creature like a nocturnal owl or something!

I really like the way you framed the butterfly with the scallops. It's a very striking card.
