This is a card I made based on this adorable butterfly that my friend Tiffany from I Heart Art sent to me. She sent it to me just out of the kindness of her heart! How sweet is that?!? It's from the July Unity Kit of the Month, which I cannot afford at this time. (Thanks Tiff for letting me live vicariously through you and for sharing the LOVE!)
I used some faux stitching, since I don't actually stitch. Layering of some scalloped circles. I added a little color to the stamped image with some markers. Oh, and my faux Faith dots since I'm not actually Faith.
Basic Recipe:
Stamps: Unity KOTM July |
Paper: pink, white, black CS, Target Dollar Spot DP |
Ink: Stazon Jet Black |
Accessories: gel pen, rhinestones, circle punch, scallop circle punch |
Difficulty (1-Easy 5-Advanced): 1 |
Don't ask what I'm doing up this late...heehee. When the boys are in bed I become another creature like a nocturnal owl or something!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the card! You are so good at making things look pretty! I need to practice...
I really like the way you framed the butterfly with the scallops. It's a very striking card.
