The goal for this card challenge is to donate 3000 cards to the troops! The cards are either for Operation Quiet Comfort for soldiers who have been injured or for soldiers who are currently on duty to send home to their friends and family. Wish RAK did a similar project for 4th of July and they collected about 2000 cards. But I think with the holidays coming up, we can do better this time.
Now, I must say, I haven't stamped since last Sunday and I'm a bit rusty. Also, they want us to use items we got through Wish RAK if we can. All I've gotten is some Hanna Riley images and some ADORABLE penguins. However, that's not gonna make all the cards I want to make. So, as of right now, I'm going to stop limiting myself to the Wish RAK images. I really want to do my best work and I would like to make as many cards as possible for the troops. Therefore, I'm lifting this restriction for myself, which they said was ok to do.
Anyhow, I will be back tomorrow. I might post some pictures of the cards I'm making if they turn out ok. The ones I've made so far are not up to my normal work but I figure I'm just rusty. PLUS, I'm trying not to use any embellishments because certain ones aren't allowed at the hospital and I want everything to be versatile. Also, tomorrow, I have some goodies for my hugged my heart list to share.
