Please Donate HANDMADE Items! Project 320

Ok, I'm on a really strong pain medicine so hopefully I will make sense. Hang in there with me ok?
Nothing hugs my heart more than people who are trying to make a difference. And when the goal they set is huge, it hugs my heart even more. Since setting a small goal is wonderful but doesn't push you very much. Enter Project 320. These girls give me goosebumps in the BEST kind of way. They want to build a well in Africa and they need us to help!

My sweet friend Heather of Angel Face Designs is how I heard about this AMAZING cause. Let me cliff note this for you. It takes just $5000 to build a well in Africa. $5000 will help moms and their children to be able to drink SAFE water. 500 people will be helped by a single well. On my long list of wants and needs, there is NO place where it says water that my children will not DIE from drinking. Though we might be struggling, we are still blessed. Could you even imagine the HEART BREAK you'd go through if something so simple as WATER could kill your children? I could not and I will help in any way I can.

There are THREE ways you all can help!

1. Donate money directly. You can go HERE to donate and help reach this $5000 goal.
2. You can donate a handmade item. Project 320 is collecting handmade items to use as a GIANT blog candy. They will make 10 prize packs of donated items and for each $10 donation, a person will get one entry into the blog candy. Please email me (actressangel at gmail dot com) for the address to send your items to. Items must be RECEIVED by DEC 10. I know this isn't a lot of time, but you must have pre-made things laying around you could send via Priority Mail.
3. Spread the word! Tell everyone you know! Send out an email, blog, tweet, Facebook, whatever you can. The more people who know, the more people can help.

Here's something I copy and pasted from the site:
Today I...

Took a shower.
Brushed my teeth.
Filled the coffee pot.
Filled the Christmas tree stand.
Ran the dishwasher.
Ran the washing machine.
Used the toilet.
Washed my hands.
Did some more dishes.
And lots more laundry.
Rinsed salad greens.
Ran baths.
Topped off my iron.
Fed my kids glasses of fresh, clean water.

Water, water, water...

Is it fair that today I whine & worry over trees & toys,
when today 4500 moms just like me are worrying whether their
children will live or die?

Over contaminated water?

When I think about how healthy and safe my family is, I have no worries.
I need nothing.
I am so blessed.

But those other moms need us.
Together, we can relieve some worry.
