Lawnscaping Challenge 4

Hi friends! I hope had a wonderful weekend! We had a busy Saturday and then just had a lazy Sunday. However, hubby has today off too and I hope you all have it off for President's Day! Woohoo for a 3 Day weekend! (We actually always have them but it's nice when our friends have them too!)

How about starting off the week right with a new Lawnscaping challenge? Doesn't that sounds awesome? Not only that but it's one of my very favorite things to do, Paper Piecing! Woohoo! I love this challenge and Lawn Fawn stamps are really fun to paper piece! I can't wait to see what you all make!!

There are TWO awesome prizes for this next challenge!! The first is Lawn Fawn's Fly Free set and the other is to be our guest designer for the next challenge! How cool is that? I love it!

Here's my take on this challenge. I had yet to ink up my Judy's Blooms so I decided to take this as a chance to do so. I love this big flower! Paper piecing flowers is actually my favorite since I get a little lost coloring them. I used this week's GetSketchy sketch for this card or at least I tried. ;)

  2. This is so very pretty, Ashley! I love how you pulled all these elements together: the polkadots, the doily, the paper-pieced flowers. It all came together so beautifully! Great job.

  6. I just love your take on the challenge. Paper piecing Judy's blooms is a favorite of mine, and boy did you do a great job with it. And I love how you used your doily. I cannot figure out how to use them, so I've decided not to:)

  7. Great minds do think alike! I love that doily that you used; it adds such an elegant touch. I'm super excited to get my doily dies in the mail from PTI this week and create something like this! Love the idea of using a flower + doily... I might have to lift that. :)
