A Layout From the Card Maker

Hi friends! I hope you all had a lovely weekend! I'm not doing so hot...still. :( I was on the wrong antibiotic and now I'm on the correct one but I'm not seeing results just yet. Hopefully soon! My family is doing good though and the weather is lovely!

Here's a layout I started last weekend while I was cropping at Green Tangerines with Gina Lideros, Suzy West, Deirdre Smith, and Julia Buszkiewicz. Since I'm "just a card maker" every time I crop with my friends, they think it's hilarious to make me scrap. And if you've paid attention to my layouts, they usually start with a sheet of card stock. Well, Suzy told me that I needed to make a layout on patterned paper. Gah! This is what I came up with using pictures Suzy took with Instagram (which I LOVE!) and some older Basic Grey paper.
Have a great day, friends!

  1. Oh! I am getting a wee bit closer to scrapping! It is actually good to hear that an inspired card-maker such as you gets nervous about taking that scrapbooking step! I keep thinking how it is such a BIG space to fill! Love what you made and may keep looking at it to get me a jump-start!

  3. You did great!
It takes me FOREVER to do a scrapbook page (or work up the courage to even try it).
I need to get together with you and we will make some cards...forget those pages! ;o)
