Birthday Greetings

Hi friends! Here's the card I posted over at the Paper Maniac blog yesterday where I also announced that Paper Maniac will be closing. You can take advantage of the huge sale, 30% off of everything if you use coupon code GOODBYE.

Here's my card that I made for a couple challenges. The first challenge is for the Paper and Such challenge 1 to make a birthday card. And the second is for CAS-ual Fridays challenge 2 to use buttons and twine.
Here's my card for this week. I used a Hero Arts cling flower stamp. The paper is Echo Park Springtime. My sentiment is an SRM Press sticker from the Birthday set. The button, twine and bling are from my stash.

Have a great day everyone!

Girly Birthday

Don't forget, this is the last week of the amazing ribbon sale! 35% off all RIBBON! Also, there are brand new things in the Paper Maniac store including Spellbinders, The Girl's Paperie, and 7 Gypsies; not to mention restocks on Copics and My Mind's Eye. Also, Patti just added a HUGE sale you have to check out!!
Here's my card for this week. I decided to ink up this sweet little girl stamp from Hero Arts. I colored her up with some Copic markers and then die cut the image and the mat with someSpellbinders Nestabilities. I used stickers and my Copic Multiliner to make the sentiment. All the patterned paper and stickers are Echo Park Playground. The flower and bling are from my stash. This card is based on the current Card Patterns sketch.

Lawnscaping Challenge 2

Hi friends! I'm so excited for our second Lawnscaping challenge! We have challenges on the 1 and 3 Mondays of every month. I need to thank all the friends who joined in our last challenge! We are starting off with a great amount of players! That makes me so happy!

For challenge #2, we are CASE-ing my pal Kelly Marie Alvarez. I love Kelly's work, she is FABULOUS! She's a super fun and cute stamper so I had a great time making my card! You can see the card I CASEd from Kelly RIGHT HERE. I made a few changes as I usually do when I CASE. :)

Here's my card. I used Lawn Fawn's Fly Free and My Silly Valentine. I also made this for Winter's Cards for St Jude's drive. I hope it's gender neutral enough.

And check out the DT:
and our special guest: Ayana

Also, there's a fabulous prize up for grabs!

Put on Your Sunglasses!

I hope you are all having a great day! I'm running on empty today as Parker decided 6am would be a fun time to wake up. Then my kids both decided that napping wasn't going to happen this afternoon. Oy!
So, here's a no stamping card I threw together the other day when we were headed to the birthday party. I can't decide if I like it or not. This is paper and chipboard I got at Target. I thought the little animals were cute and my kids have roughly a MILLION friends so I'm always in need of birthday cards. I used Mercy's current sketch for this.

Alright, obviously, my mojo has crashed and burned and I have deadlines coming out my ears so I'll end this now. Hope you all have a great weekend! OOOHHH, and check out my friend Paulina's blog candy HERE!

Creative Inspirations Icing Challenge and Diedrich Dare

Hello everyone! Today is a Creative Inspirations Paints day on my blog. YAY!! I love love love these paints! I just got some new ones yesterday so I will be making lots more new things in the feature. This week's challenge is called All About the Icing. We were to use Creative Inspirations Paints on our embellishments.

Wanna know the BEST part about these paints?? They save you money!! Each jar is only $2.25 and you can use them to customize your embellishments. Meaning, no more having to buy everything matchy matchy!

Here, I've painted the die cut birds with Royal Purple and Sky Blue. Then I painted the flower to match! It was originally pink, but now it matches perfectly! No more having to buy every single color flower! How cool is that? Also, this is a SNEAK PEEK at the new Caffinated Cropper kit! I combined it with last month's kit and made this card. All I added to the kit is the card stock and the paint! I used the adorable sketch from this week's Diedrich Dare Challenge for this card.

Be sure to check out the Creative Inspirations Paints blog for the inspiration the DT has for you today. Happy Thursday everyone!

Out of MY Box Birthday Card

Ok, so I totally forgot to blog today. I had to take BOTH kids to the doctor since they have been sick for like a week and a half and yesterday Parker spiked a fever. However, $30 later, the pediatrician told me that they just had a bad cold. Sigh..at least it's nothing serious. But I'm not so sure being that Parker keeps CRYING all the time and it's breaking my heart.

Moving on. I made a totally out of the box Happy Birthday card and I'm not sure I like it. But I figured I'd show it and get your feedback. It's a non A2 size but I'm not sure what it measures. I'm on the laptop right now and if I leave the room Parker will cry. Anyhow, the designer paper is Basic Grey, the journalling spot is Jillibean Soup, the chipboard present is Cosmo Cricket and the letters are Thickers.

Have a great Wednesday evening/night everyone!!

Ippity (Late, but Finally Up)

Alright, so the baby is up and I finally have taken my picture. It's been a rough morning around here. Brady is restless and it's raining. We are also having potty power struggles. But alas, I have a card and a post to share.

Here's my card. It's using the Mojo Monday sketch from last week. I also wanted to use it for another card for Winter's Cards for St Jude's drive. This card uses the Straight From the Heart stamp set. (Available in my sidebar.) The paper is just some old Target $1 paper from last Valentine's Day.

Don't forget to go to the Ippity blog and take a look at all the people doing the blog hop today! Lots of eye candy out there!

Robot Birthday

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you are having a good weekend! We are just beginning ours since D is off Sun, Mon, and Tues. Last week was so busy, I'm hoping we get to take it easy this weekend.

I just wanted to share a quick card I made. This uses Victoria Case's digi stamps Robby. Isn't he cute? I think he's perfect for a little boy birthday card. I used paper from an older Cosmo Cricket line. There are also some dew drops in the corners for some added dimension.

Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend!

FWF: Happy Late Birthday Ryann!!

Happy Friday everyone and welcome to my Friends with Flair Unity post! :) I'm a little behind on my crafting this week. I try to get as much done as I can on hubby's days off but sometimes, thing just get in the way. Anyhow, I'm totally late making/posting birthday cards for my SWEET friend Ryann who I just adore! So, I'm dedicating this entire post to her. (I heart you Ryann!)

I made two cards and I'm not sure which one I like better. Unfortunately, neither one has been put in the mail yet. :( The first one uses SCS's sketch challenge for this week. The stamp is Unity from the August 09 KOTM. The DP is SU and the embossing folder is Swiss Dots. I added Cotton Candy Stickles to the cupcake papers and Frosted Lace Stickles to the white part of the cake stand but you can't really see either.

The next card I made is a CASE. Tiff told me to CASE Ryann since that's a big form of flattery. Normally, it's really easy for me to pick a card to CASE since only a couple things appeal to me out of a gallery, but not with Ryann. I could CASE her all day long! I love her style!

HERE is the card I CASEd. I changed the stamp set (to Unity's Birthday Chic), the designer paper, and the ribbon color. I also popped the present up on my dimensionals and added Stickles to it. This was colored with Primsacolor pencils and baby oil.

I hope you like the cards Ryann! Let me know which one I should send over! :) Happy Friday everyone! Come back tomorrow for some EtsyInspired!

Super Hero Monday!

I am SOOOO busy this morning! I'm throwing a baby shower in about an hour. Both of my kids and I are STILL in pajamas and I'm blogging. Oy! That's how dedicated I am to this blog. Or obsessive, whichever way you wanna look at it.

Today, I have a couple of super fast cards that I made with the Super Hero Set from AiFactory. I just printed out the images and sentiments at a size that I thought would work for me. Then I put them out and made cards with them. Super duper easy. This first card uses paper from DCWV. I just matted the main image and added the sentiment. This set is PERFECT for all of Brady's little friends! I can make adorable Super Hero cards for their birthdays!

My next card just utilizes some circle punches. The awesome super hero was punched with a 1 1/4 inch punch and the two awesome diamond lightening bolts were punched with a 1 inch circle punch. The sentiment is a clear stamp that came from a $1 set from Joann craft store.

Alright, I should go shower and get ready. Wish me luck! Happy Monday!

Happy Birthday Kristen!

My sweet friend Kristen is turning 21 today! YAY! Happy birthday, youngin! I hope it's absolutely fantastic!

I made this card for Kristen's birthday. It's using the SCS sketch challenge from this last Wednesday. I wanted something soft and pink and pretty. That just reminds me of Kristen. And like I said before, for my best girls, I pull out the good stuff. So, the DP is Basic Grey. The stamp is Unity. The butterflies are from a Martha Stewart punch. And the Stickles are Diamond.

This card is on it's way to you Kristen! I hope your birthday is as amazing as you are! Have lots of fun and have a drink for me! Hugs!

Happy Birthday Tiffaroo!

For some reason, I was under the impression that today is Thursday and Tiffany's birthday. I spent all last night trying to get the PERFECT birthday card made for Tiff. I redid this at least twice. But guess what? It's Wednesday and Tiff's birthday is tomorrow. Sigh...

I'm posting this card any how since I don't have anything else to share today. I had to pull out all the stops on this card because Tiffany is one of my best girls. A best girl calls for pulling out your best stuff so here's a little Basic Grey paper. This sketch is from 2 Sketches 4 You. The owl is from Unity's June 09 KOTM and the sentiment is from Unity's Birthday Chic. Then I just added some rhinestones from Michael's and a little coloring on the sentiment.

I hope you like your card Tiff! I wanted it chic and girly just like you. Happy birthday to my sweet friend/stamp twin! I'm so glad we're friends! Hugs!

Birthdays Abound

Yesterday, Brady's birthday party was a success other than the fact that he completely melted down after DH left to go pick up the pizza.  I hope everyone had fun.  I tried to even though my little man decided that since it was his party, he could do whatever he wanted like eat M&Ms by the handful before lunch, dumping popcorn EVERYWHERE, and throwing fits.  What can you do?

Today, we are going to celebrate Dustin's birthday which is actually tomorrow.  I made this card for him, but I don't like it very much.  I'll probably try it again.  This card uses a sketch from the Stampin Out Alzheimer's event.  I'm going to try to get more of the challenges done before we head out today.  The stamp set is Unity's Birthday Chic.

Off to create!  Happy Sunday everyone!

Super Quick Post ( I Really Didn't Forget)

Today was just a long and hectic day.  I was so tired, I ended up taking a three hour nap.  I really don't remember being this tired or huge in my eighth month last pregnancy.  What can you do though?

This is a card I made for Unity's one layer birthday card challenge.  This big present is a Unity stamp and the sentiment comes from the set Simply Said.  You can't really tell but the card is done in different shades of purple, white, and silver.  I did gel pens on the ribbon to give it a metallic sheen.  I put Stickles on the dots of the wrapping paper, added some ribbon, and bling.  Easy peasy!

Also, I haven't forgotten about the EtsyInspired DT contest.  I just have A LOT on my plate right now AND it's a very tough decision that I will have to make.  There were tons of amazing entries!  I will decide this week though.  Thanks for your patience!

Brady's Birthday Thank Yous

This is the thank you picture collage I made to send out with Brady's birthday thank you cards.  We did SO much that week.  We went to Toys R Us on Monday.  We went to Funtastic on his real birthday and he had cake for the first time.  We had his party on Sunday.  It was really fun!  I wanted to acknowledge everyone for sharing in this amazing experience with us.

Now, I'm trying to figure out if I want to make thank you cards (paper) to go with these.  I do want to write a note to personalize it and thank everyone for the gifts and joining us.  But I don't really do "bulk cards."  I was thinking about doing a card front, but I'm not sure.  Then I was thinking about doing something SUPER simple like a card with a balloon and the words "thank you" stamped on the front.  But I don't know if I should hand make it if it's nothing special.  I certainly don't have time to do like 25 pop up cards or anything like that.  What do you think?
