Love My Tapes and Amy's Blog Candy

Did you see my feature on the Love My Tapes blog last week? How cool is that? My friend Shemaine Smith is the coordinator and online marketing director for Love My Tapes. She asked me to send over some of my creations to feature. I was more than happy to oblige.

Now, what really drew me to Love My Tapes was the awesome Washi Tapes from Japan. They are so cool to work with. You can make stripes with them, use them like ribbon, pleat them, and the list goes on and on. They come in tons of different colors and designs. But that's not all they offer over at Love My Tapes. They have an adhesive runner that is my new favorite! :) I've been having the hardest time with one of my popular brand runners not working right. I've had NO problems with this tape. It holds ribbon. It's easy to control. It comes out in complete strips each time. It's super clear too, you can use it under vellum and it barely shows.

I got to use THIS tape shown here on the left. This first card is a baby card. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. The designer paper is Stampin Up from a 6x6 prints pack. The punch is Martha Stewart. I pleated the tape and then stapled it to add some extra dimension. The die cut is Nesties Label 1 and the letters are Thickers.

My second card is also made with some SU paper. It just seemed to match this pretty tape. This set is made with Ippity's Just Wanted to Say set. The punch here is Fiskar's Apron Lace. I used some Waterfall Stickles on the stamped panel. The rhinestones are Kaisercraft. Everything was adhered with the double sided tape runner.

Ok, also you should check out Amy's blog candy. It's located here.
