My First Trade

My first trade was with a gal I just adore, Laura from Sleepless Imagination. I made her the banner you see above and she gave me to wonderful note cards. She was so easy to work with. She had some ideas. She liked blues, purples, and greens. She wanted a night time theme. She wanted her store name and logo. Simple enough.

D and I played around with it for a while. I wanted to use a different gradient so it didn't look too much like my own banner. I'm really happy with this gradient. I also LOVE the outer glow that we gave to the moon, stars, and text. I, personally, love the banner but the only thing that matters is Laura likes it.

From Laura, I received a set of note cards featuring her original artwork. I'm really impressed with the quality of the printing! The art work looks great and the card is extremely functional. It's not printed on photo paper, so I had a very easy time writing one the back of it. My cards came in an adorable folder that Laura had made to store her cards. She also made the cutest gift tag to go with it. This would be an adorable gift. I kept mine for myself because at the time my grandpa was sick and he thinks that ladybugs are good luck. I sent him a card, I'm sure he loved it.
